It's more than a brand, its a way of life!

volunteers beach cleanup project bahamasLive the life you love, & love the life you live. Words of wisdom that are often forgotten when making important purchasing decisions that can negatively impact the planet. Planet Love Life was created for and is dedicated to inventing ways to solve issues that face our planet and various ecosystems around the globe and educating the public about the harmful effects that marine debris has on the marine environment. You can help by being conscious and aware of your everyday actions's effects on the environment. (Think Globally, Act Locally). Here is a list of ways that you can become part of the solution, instead of the problem.

    Reduce -

Lower your carbon footprint! There are lots of ways that you can reduce the amount of waste you produce.

    cup of trash

Single use plastic products are a huge problem. It is better to simply not purchase these types of "disposable" items and thus preventing any need for recycling or cleanup projects. Here is a list of items you should avoid. Some examples of plastics to avoid using:

    • Water Bottles & Cups
    • Drinking Straws
    • Forks, spoons, knives
    • "Disposable" Lighters
    • Balloons
    • Purchase Biodegradable Products & Sustainable Companies
    • Use Refillable Water Bottles (no plastic bottles)
    • Request "No Straw Please" When dining out at restaurants or bars

    Reuse -

The old saying is true, one man's trash is another man's treasure. It's all about your perspective.

    please don't litter
    • #1 MUST HAVE: Reusable Water Bottle
    • Use reusable shopping bags (no plastic bags!)
    • Glass Jars are Useful (stop throwing away usable objects)
    • Repair items instead of tossing them away or buying new

    Recycle -

Most "trash" can be recycled into new products.

Before you toss it, give it a second thought. Most people know this one... but understanding what can be recycled is important. If you make a plastic purchase, consider if it can be recycled. Plastics marked with a 3, 6 or 7 generally cannot be recycled by curbside pickup. Sometimes they can, so check with your local waste management facility for details on what is and isn't allowed to be recycled... you might be surprised!

      Repeat -

A lifestyle change is the only way to truly make an impact. Pollution prevention should be a fundamental part of the decisions we make every day. We understand that our marine debris bracelets are not the end all solution for removing marine debris from our oceans, beaches & waterways. Instead, they are a way to remind yourself and others what is at stake. A friendly tap on the shoulder to say...

"Hey can you reuse this?" "Hey do you need to buy this?" ?
"Hey don't throw that away... there is no "away"! ♻️
